Rune Stone

What is Rune?
Runes are magic stones that form in Volcano Region. By insetting runes into equipment, adventurers can get permanent buffs or trigger temporary buffs during battle.
Runes-related NPC can be found in Dwarven Castle in Volcano Region.

Slot Processing
1. Unlock Slot
Unlocking slots will cost gold and may fail. Equipment will NOT be destroyed upon failure. The cost and success rate are based on equipment type and slots. Blessed weapons can unlock the 2nd slot after unlocking the 1st slot.
2. Slot Enchant
The 2nd slot of blessed weapons and the 1st slot of blessed armors can be enchanted. Enchanted slots can inset special runes.
Slot enchanting will cost gold and will NOT fail. The cost is based on equipment type. Slot enchanting will not affect inset runes.

Inset Runes
1. Runes type must match equipment type. Specially, armor runes can inset to any armor’s enchanted slot.
2. Normal slots can only inset normal runes. Enchanted slots can inset normal or special runes.
3. When you inset a new rune into a slot with a rune, the old rune will be destroyed.
4. When you inset more than 3 runes with the same type, only the 3 with the highest level will apply.
5. When buff-type runes are triggered, the trigger rate of other buff-type runes will be halved. The same buff runes will not trigger again.
6. If the equipment is destroyed, inset runes will be disappeared.

Remove Runes
1. Removing runes will cost [Hero Emblem]. The amount of [Herp Emblem] needed is based on the rune’s level.

Runes Enchant
1. You can enchant 3 runes into a higher level rune. The highest rune level is 3. All runes must have the same type, effect, and level. Runes enchanting will cost gold and may fail. Cost and success rate based on the rune’s type and level.

Runes Reforge
1. You can reforge 3 runes into a new rune. All runes must have the same type and level. The new rune will be a rune with the same type and level and have a chance to become a special rune.
